Hello March!
I have neglected my emails, my blog, my priorities lately just to focus on how I will be spending my week during SXSW and RSVPing to everything like my life depended on it. I don’t have an official schedule for the week yet, I told myself I wouldn’t put one together until the day before but here are a few dates I have planned so far: 3.10.12 -Copyblogger Media Presents: The Computer...

Training - 2.22.12
Well, I am officially signed up to run the Cap10k on March 25th and Hell Run on April 28th. Part of my training is constantly drinking water, eating healthy, and plently of exercise… and I hate it.  Haha, no not really, I have felt pretty good about myself so far except It wasn’t until after I swore off anything and everything unhealthy that I noticed every other commercial or ad on...

Between How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse on the History Channel, Walking Dead Marathons and finally getting the chance to play Dead Island, I might be suffering from a mild zombie obsession. Lately it appears my zombie craze has caught up with me and it’s actually pretty silly. A week ago, Vanessa asked me a hypothetical question that if she was a zombie, would I be able to bring it to...

Odie managed to chase his first dog sitter away in just 3 hours. One of my coworkers always talks about how cute Odie is, and playfully threatens to “steal him” from me at any time. So today I held her to her it and had him watch him while I surprised my little brother at his soccer game that he was having in a town over. In the first hour, I went into complete mother mode and...

Hacking UFC site is the equivalent to 9/11?
As I was lying in bed all day recovering from what I’m assuming is strep throat, I can’t help but surf the web on any news I’ve missed out on these past couple of days. The very first article I come across is titled, “Anonymous pwns UFC chief in cyber brawl” Oh so why would the activist group Anonymous waste their time targeting the Ultimate Fighting Championship? Well turns out, Dana White, the...

Just one of those days...
Hopped up on Dayquil and cough drops today. On the bright side of being sick, it gives me an excuse to play game and watch movies all day.

My favorite albums of 2011
I have been going through several of my favorite blogs lately, and each of them have put together a list of the best albums or best songs of 2011. I could agree with a few of their choices but then when I see artists like Wiz Khalifa or LMFAO on the list, my teeth cringe.  With that said, I decided to put together my own list of the best albums of 2011. It turns out, it’s harder than I...

NYE
Happy New Year everyone! Make this new year one to remember! A group of us brought in the new year at Republic Live, in Downtown Austin. It was a blast. Overcrowded, smelled horribly, and full of drunks as expected, but still a blast.  There was a mild hiccup, that I would like to share from the night: At about 1am, some drunk dude starts dancing on one of the speakers next to the DJ’s...

Tuscaloosa, Al
This weekend I traveled to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to do some IT work at a property there. I am really enjoying these traveling opportunities that I have had lately, and hopefully I can continue to do this. I did manage to get a few pictures this time around. We landed in Birmingham, Alabama and from what I saw It looked rather “smoggy”. Smoggy is the best word that I will use to describe...

A friend of mine started his own blog of his many unfortunate and hysterical adventures while serving in the Navy. Some of these stories can be a bit vulgar and contain strong language, so be warned. Enjoy: School For Jerks

NBA trades
I’m just thinking out loud and pretty much stating the obvious but I need to mention a few of these trades, and by trades I mean Chris Paul and Dwight Howard: After two weeks of frustration and going back and forth with multiple teams, it seems that Chris Paul finally has a new home. The Clippers scored pretty big with that trade for CP. Now you have potentially one of best upcoming Power...

You've been traded... Just kidding
So much talk about trading this week that it’s kinda hard to ignore. Yesterday it was pretty set that Chris Paul would be starting the new season as a Laker. The trade would CP to Los Angeles, Houston will get Pau Gasol, and New Orleans would receive Odom, Luis Scola, Kevin Martin, Goran Dragic, and a 2012 1st Round Draft Pick Throughout the day this was the...

12-4-11: Stay classy, Chewie
I just accidentally closed my internet browser before posting the page long blog of my trip, so instead of retyping my experiences over the weekend, you will just have to get a summary. I arrived in San Diego on Friday afternoon. It was pretty last minute, they put the bat signal in the air, and I pretty much fly to said destination to help with any IT problems. It was great though. This weekend...

NYC
This one took a while to post but, as some of you may know, I spent some time in NYC this summer and during this time I began putting together a compilation of songs that reminded me of my favorite city, from the night life to hot tourist spots, to just walking up and down NYC with nothing my but my headphones. Here is my NYC mixtape that I threw together, finally. Enjoy: Photo by GDanny ...

Camp
Donald Glover does not disappoint with his most recent and anticipated release of his debut commercial album, Camp. Glover, who raps under the moniker of Childish Gambino, has released a few albums in the past, which are all available for free online, gaining huge popularity across the Internet and social media world. In Camp, Gambino quickly acknowledges the criticism he has received in the past...
